The fund will target technology companies
from early to later stage opportunities. Companies undergoing
their first round of venture capital financing generally
present investment opportunities with the highest potential
for capital appreciation. These companies generally
have a prototype, a lead customer and have done some
field or laboratory testing. Companies at later stages
offer the advantages of relative safety and a much shorter
time to liquidity. Although the potential for capital
appreciation is somewhat lower at the mezzanine stage,
it is still generally attractive. |
